Add a single PDF file to rotate all pages.

⚠️Large PDF files may take longer to process depending on your browser's performance. We recommend keeping a backup of the original files before starting.

Practical guide

Rotation does not re-compress page graphics

PDF rotation changes the page rotation value and saves a new document instead of converting pages to images. Normal text and line art are not re-compressed, and the original page dimensions remain intact.

This tool applies one angle to every page. If only a few pages are sideways, extract those pages, rotate them, and merge them back into the document.

Angles
90°, 180°, 270°
Scope
Every page in the document
Re-compression
None

Good use cases

  • Correcting sideways phone scans
  • Fixing an entire landscape document
  • Standardizing orientation before printing

Checks after download

  • Check whether orientations are mixed
  • Review annotation and form placement
  • Validate signatures on signed PDFs

📝How to Use

  1. Drag and drop the single PDF file you want to rotate into the upload zone or click to select.
  2. Choose your rotation angle (90° clockwise, 180°, or 90° counter-clockwise).
  3. Review the configuration settings.
  4. Click the [Rotate PDF] button.
  5. The rotated PDF file copy will download automatically as rotated.pdf.

⚠️Caveats

  • The selected rotation is applied to all pages of the document simultaneously.
  • This website processes document rotation entirely inside your browser session using local CPU resources.
  • Documents with edit restrictions or encryption locks cannot be rotated using this local editor library.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q.Will rotating pages corrupt the layout or text annotations?

The operation changes each page rotation value rather than rasterizing the page, so ordinary text and vector graphics are not re-compressed. Always inspect annotations, form fields, and signed documents afterward.

Q.Does rotating a document multiple times reduce the quality?

Rotation does not intentionally re-compress page graphics. Repeated edits can still affect document-level metadata, forms, or signatures, so use the source file when changing direction again.

Q.How do I rotate pages counter-clockwise by 90 degrees?

Choose the "90° Left" (or 270° clockwise) rotation option. It yields the exact same logical result as a 90° counter-clockwise rotation.
