Understanding ranges and split outputs
In range mode, entering 1-3, 8-10 creates two PDFs in a ZIP. A single range downloads as one PDF. The all-pages mode creates one PDF per page and downloads them together as a ZIP.
Printed page numbers can differ from the page counter shown by a PDF viewer. For documents with covers or Roman-numeral front matter, confirm ranges against the viewer counter before processing.

❓Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q.Will hyperlinks or text annotations remain active after splitting?
Ordinary text and vector graphics are copied with the pages without intentionally rasterizing them. Bookmarks, form fields, digital signatures and links to other pages may not survive. Open each output and test the features you need.
Q.What happens if I enter overlapping page ranges, like 1-5 and 3-7?
Overlapping ranges will be processed independently. You will get one PDF document containing pages 1-5 and another containing pages 3-7, packaged side-by-side in the downloaded ZIP archive.
Q.Do I need specific software to open the ZIP archive?
No. Modern operating systems like Windows 10/11 and macOS can open and extract ZIP files natively via right-click or double-click without installing any third-party software.
