What changes when a PDF becomes JPG
Each PDF page is drawn to a pixel image, so text search, copying, links, and form controls are not available in the JPG. The image can instead be used in services that do not accept PDF files.
Output resolution is fixed; there is no quality selector. One selected page downloads as a JPG, while multiple pages download as a ZIP. Page numbers are deduplicated and sorted: entering 5, 2, 5 produces pages 2 and 5 once each.

- Vector text is rendered at 2.0x scale to preserve clarity. This rendering cycle may take slightly longer for larger files.
- Text selection and copying functions are not supported within the output JPG image files.
- This tool does not support password-protected or encrypted PDFs. Use an unprotected copy you are authorized to process.
❓Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q.Will there be severe quality loss during the PDF to JPG conversion?
Pages are rendered at 2× scale, equivalent to about 144 pixels per inch at the PDF page size, then saved as JPEG at quality 90%. JPEG is lossy; small text and low-resolution scans may look less clear. Check a sample page before converting a large document.
Q.How are the output image filenames structured in the ZIP archive?
When multiple pages are exported, they are sequential inside the ZIP archive with filenames like "page-1.jpg", "page-2.jpg", etc., making them easy to sort.
Q.Can I convert a PDF containing hundreds of pages locally?
Yes. However, because processing runs entirely inside your browser session, extremely large page counts may slow down or heat up your device. We recommend rendering in batches of 30 pages for optimal performance.
